The Newly Wed Nicholsons

I had the great pleasure of shooting the Nicholson's wedding on Wednesday evening. I typically don't *do* weddings, but was honored to do so for my friend, Bobby, the groom. I had a ton of fun, but am definitely not a wedding photographer!:) I wish Bobby and Cindy all the best!

The Asbills

The Asbills rock! We had such a great time hanging out at the lake, feeding the ducks, taking a hike, oh and we shot a few pictures. Riley is three. There was some concern because we did this shoot smack in the middle of her nap time! She was *the* best! I decided she would be talking during her nap saying, *CHEESE!* You can see for yourself how stinking adorable she is!;) Thank you, Robby, Heather and Riley for spending the afternoon with me!

Guthrie's Pumpkin Farm

So in every photographer's life, we are sometimes forced. . .okay, I'm never forced to take a picture, to do things other than portraits. My youngest son's class went to Guthrie's Pumpkin Patch in Riceville, TN. Here a few pictures I took while there! We had a great time by the way. If you live in the area, you should check it out!

I had the opportunity to take pictures of a local christian rock band, SG7. They are a great bunch of guys and one girl!;) I had a great time and got a few great pictures. Thanks guys! You can check them out on Facebook.

The Sluder Family

So, as promised, the Sluders allowed me to hang with them again on Saturday. My husband met Greg, the dad, at a music store about 5 years ago. Our families come very close to mirroring the other. We have a 18 year old, 13 year old and 5 year old. The Sluders have a 17 year old, 11 year old, a 5 year old and cute little Spencer was the kid that tipped the scale for the Sluders! They won and we will leave it that way! ;) Anyway, all of that to say, I have known Abby since she was just a tiny infant, not even sitting alone. I had no clue she was so very photogenic! Isn't she the most beautiful thing? We got some great shots of Ariel as well. John Garrett proved to be a more difficult creature. He wanted to go swim! I was intruding in his plans! Anyway, we ended up with a few good pictures of JG! The family lives on 32 acres. We went to one of their favorite spots to take some photos. It is called Potter's Hill. You can see the outline of the Smokey Mountains from up there! It is beautiful!

Spencer

I had the honor of spending yesterday with Spencer on his very first birthday! He is such a sweet boy and you can see how unbelievably delicious he is!;) We gave him a cake to destroy just for pictures, but as you can see, he didn't like it nearly as much as the chocolate one his parents gave him to dig in. He is such a ham. I'm going back today to take pictures of his entire family, two sisters, one brother and two parents! I am so excited. They are a wonderful family!

Fun in the Sun

A couple of weeks ago, I took two of my kids and my niece and nephew to get the lake in hopes of getting some good pictures of them all for my mother-in-law. It is, honestly, the hardest thing to get a good picture of my nephew. Out of about 600 pictures, here are the best of him. Aren't they the cutest niece and nephew ever!
